I'm Katelin, and I'm so glad you're here.
I was an insomniac for more than 20 years and now sleeping great and feeling well rested. I help people with insomnia to sleep more so that they can feel great again. And unlike most sleep coaches, I don’t teach sleep hygiene, CBTi, or suggest supplements/sleeping pills, but instead, I teach you how to eliminate the root cause of your insomnia so that you never have insomnia again.
I suffered from insomnia for more than 20 years. I used to sleep every other day for just 2-3 hours and sometimes longer stretches of nights with zero sleep. In the beginning, I couldn’t fall asleep for hours and then later couldn’t stay asleep.
I tried just about everything (Supplements, CBD oil, acupuncture, meditation, sleep medications, alcohol, and more) out there to help me sleep. It just seemed like nothing was going to work for me. I was so frustrated because even sleep medications weren’t working. My situation felt hopeless. I developed more and more anxiety about sleep, bedtime, and life.
I didn’t have energy and never knew how I was going to function and get through the day. I didn’t feel safe driving and thought I would get fired from my job because I felt like I couldn’t do my best. I was tired and exhausted all the time and, sadly, had suicidal thoughts. Life didn’t feel worth living if I was going to feel like this forever. I felt desperate and was willing try anything.
Insomnia took over my every waking moment and was ruining my life. I felt like I was losing my mind and going crazy.
Until I met a sleep doctor unlike all the others, I have met. He changed my life. Just talking to him and hearing about his method, things finally made sense. I thought I understood my insomnia until I met him. I used to think my sleep system (or myself) was broken, but it wasn’t. It was possible to sleep normally again. I just had to learn to get out of the way of my own sleep system. It took some time to learn and implement what I was learning from him, but I started seeing more and more progress.
I am now at a point where I am sleeping about 7 hours per night and able to fall back asleep quickly. I feel at peace at bedtime and wake up with energy. I finally have relief from the hell I went through. Because I now understand why my insomnia lasted for so long, I can prevent myself from ever having insomnia again.
